The best Kindle The Pianist & Taking Sides I only read the "The Pianist" screenplay, not all that interested in the only one so I left it alone. This screenplay is written by Ronald Harwood which is based on Wladek Szpilman's book of the same name and with every page turn I wanted to read more and more and watch the Polanski film. I will be watching it right after this review. It's absolutely amazing, sad, painful, and real. I visioned every word and directed it myself in my head. It is an excellent screenplay, however it should have been called "The Window" lol. Most events are shown from Szpilman's eyes looking through a window on all the destruction of his life. Some scenes are so graphic and vulgar others are Szpilman weeping or crawling to hide, it's quite upsetting to read those parts. The way it's written is brilliant, way better than my previous review on a play. This is very visionary and enthralling.
