Popular Books The Silence of the Stones I didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading The Silence of the Stones. The story starts off by showing three different characters lives. I was a little intrigued to see how these three characters would encounter each other and why, so although I found it a little confusing keeping track of these three characters’ lives, I found myself getting sucked into the story and didn’t put the book down until I had finished.I won’t say too much on the story line as I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that The Silence of the Stone is an original story. I can say that I haven’t read anything like it before. I was pleasantly surprised by The way that Rebecca Bryn entwines the three characters’ lives. The twist in the story and the mystery that keeps you guessing until the end, Had me turning the pages. If you enjoy a good story that has a good mystery, a little romance, a few twist that keeps you guessing. Then I would suggest you read The silence of the stones.

  • A disturbing tale of lies piled on top of lies, of unsolved murders and untapped talents Without telling any spoilers, it is difficult for the reader to believe that the main character Alana reached adulthood without losing her mind The feeling of impending doom hangs over her head from the first chapter and the reader prays that everything will work out for her until the very end The author makes her characters jump off the page and to her credit they are very believable and so tragic Rebecca B [...]

  • Highly recommended, The Silence of the Stones is an intriguing read The Author has clearly researched her subject well and gives a fascinating insight into the practices of the ancient celts Her characters are well written and ineract naturally with each other creating a plausible and engaging plot line I must admit to having worked out where the story was going long before the end but this did not in any way detract from my enjoyment of the book All in all I would thoroughly recommend this book [...]

  • This story gripped me It got me involved in the people, and the setting, and the plot It is well crafted and manages to hold up a rather complex plot for which the author s skill should be recognized. It s stayed with me since I read it and I can t always say that about things I ve read It certainly makes me curious to read from this author.
